Description

The Dominion Classic originally launched in the United States at the 2017 IPCPR show in Las Vegas, and is now being launched in Canada for the first time officially in early 2019.

Dominion owner Steve Ricker, started working on this project in early 2016 at Ernesto Carrillo’s factory in the Dominican Republic, Tabacalera Alianza. This is the same factory that produced Ernesto’s Encore cigar brand, which won Cigar Aficionado’s 2018 cigar of the year.

After several months of tweaking the blend, the outcome is a very smooth medium body cigar, featuring tobaccos from Ecuador and Nicaragua. Steve used a Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Jalapa binder and all fillers are from Nicaragua. Boasting notes of a very fine sweetness, mixed with earthy subtleties makes it a great anytime of the day smoke, and priced at an entry to mid level price point, that makes this cigar affordable.
