Description
The Quintero y Hermano Brevas is a top-class Habanos, a creamy medium Corona, 5.5” (140mm) long, of 41 ring gauge. It is one of the cheapest Cuban cigars available but you won’t find it everywhere. Some will love it, others may not, but it surely has it fans. It is a very nice hand finished Habanos, still much better than many other non-Cuban cigars.
The Brevas from Quintero y Hermano is not a complex but still a classic Cuban cigar.
• Smooth with spicy notes.
• These cigars are straightforward, and very enjoyable.
Dimensions:
Length: 140 mm
Diameter: 16.27 mm
Ring gauge: 41
Shape: Corona/Nacionales
Appearance:
This cigar is a nice-looking corona size with medium brown wrapper. It’s very spongy when squeezed. It has a pretty rose-colored wrapper and a fairly nice cap.
Smoking Notes:
Before lighting up
Light fragrance of pepper and some tobacco.
Burn/ Draw
Perfect burn and an easy, comfortable draw.
Initial third:
The first thirds is somewhat medium bodied smoke with a hint of spice. I’m also detecting faint vanilla and toasted nut flavor.
Middle third:
The second third is very creamy. All the flavors make this Quintero very enjoyable.
Final third:
The final third is much more complex. Not really sweet, but soft enough to remind you of a creamy coffee. There is just enough bitterness and spiciness to keep your attention.
In summary, not the most complex Habanos, but you can surely notice the typical Cuban aromas. It has a unique taste, mild with spicy touch.
Smoking time: 45 – 60 Minutes
